Here are a few shots of Avery from her 6-month photo shoot!
Our angel baby is 6-months old today! Avery is getting so big and more and more fun every single day. She is very smiley and is becoming very vocal. She loves to bang her toys on the table and floor and gets a huge kick out of making a racket! Most recently, she is go, go, go! She is motoring around so quickly and is very close to crawling “properly”. But for now, she has mastered the belly-scoot! She loves to stand and will even take steps when we walk with her. She is still a great eater…loves her bottles and has quite a fondness for oatmeal and fruit. She sleeps well and wakes up each morning between 5:50 am - 6:00 am. This is new. She used to sleep much later but since becoming so mobile she goes to bed quite a bit earlier! At her 6-month check-up she weighed in at 16 lbs. 6 oz. and is 26.6 inches long. (95% for height, 50% for weight.) Avery will have her professional pictures taken this Saturday so stay tuned! Even though we are really struggling right now with some unfortunate happenings…Avery continues to be such a bright spot in our world. For that and one million other reasons, she is the absolute love of our lives! Thank you God for such a blessing!
Yesterday we gave Avery her very first finger food. (Gerber Graduates Fruit Puffs - Apple Strawberry) She hated it! She wanted absolutely nothing to do with them and just threw them on the floor. Wilson wouldn’t even eat them! (Funny, because I tried them and thought that they were pretty tasty!!!)
This just couldn’t make me happier. I love cuddling with my two babies!
Avery has been trying to crawl up into the coffee table all week. Today…we let her. She finally did it but became very frustrated and very stuck. I am certain this is the first of many…uh-ohs!
This is our home away from home until Wednesday. The Mullins suffered another flood this weekend that deemed our home uninhabitable. This time, the condo building’s main sewer line backed up into our unit. Wonderful!!! So, now we are lounging in luxury at the Trump hotel! (Thank you home owners insurance!)
Here I am at the office with Dad…working extremely hard.
