9.11.08Avery meets Mickey

Avery met Mickey Mouse last weekend! She really liked him but mostly just wanted to put him in her mouth. Mickey came all the way from Disney World to be at Maddy’s party on Sunday! (Happy 2nd Birthday, Miss Madelyn Paige!)

I love these pictures! Wilson is such a good boy. Avery loves him and she has started pulling his ears and patting his head and he just lays there and lets her. I couldn’t be happier with him! Good boy, Willie! 
8.29.085-months old!

Avery is 5-months old today and we are just amazed by how much she changes every single day. Lately, we are noticing that she is always doing something new. Some of her new activities include being completely wild on the changing table. No longer will she lay peacefully! She is always rolling all over, putting her feet up on the window sill, and peering down to see Wilson. (Who is, of course, always right by our side!) She is also really big into holding things. We bought her first sippy cup last night and she held it the entire time in the store. Along with holding things comes putting them in her mouth. Nothing is safe…not books, not your fingers, not Wilson….it’s hilarious. She sleeps in her own room full-time and while I didn’t like it at first, I love that she loves her bed and I think I might actually sleep better at night too. I could probably go on and on but I will end with that. It’s still so hard to believe that exactly 5-months ago I went into labor at Target. Ha! Happy 5-month birthday, my love!

Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Joe, Aunt Pam, Hannah, & Nathan came into the city today to celebrate Grandpa’s birthday. We spent the day at Millenium Park and everyone enjoyed it! (Patrick and I had a blast playing “photographer”!)
