7.30.084-month check up

Avery did very well at the doctor today. She had to get 4 shots but only cried for about 10 seconds. Phew! Here is where she sits in her 4th month of life: 14 lbs. 7 oz (The exact inverse of her weight at birth!) 75th percentile, and she is 25.75 inches long - 95th percentile. The doctor said she is very long….looks like she got her daddy’s height! We were given the go ahead to give her rice cereal and if she does well we can integrate fruits and veggies. I am hoping for some hilarious photos of her first time eating “solids”…so be on the lookout!

I just realized her eyes might not be brown looking at other pictures. Sorry if I was wrong. Her eyes are beautiful!

Sarah - Thank you! I am not really sure what color her eyes are! Sometimes they look brown…sometimes blue…sometimes just really dark. Ha!! I wonder when babies eyes become the color they will be for life? Anyone know?

I think I read somewhere between 6 and 9 months their eyes become their true color.

I’m so glad she is doing so well! Nice & healthy and absolutely beautiful!
Mallory had her 2 mo check on Mon. She cried hard during her shots……….I cried too!!
She is a biggin………13lbs and 24 in.!!! Doctor said she is in perfect health, so we were pleased to hear that!

That is so great that Avery is so tall…..Maddy too sits right at the 95% for height…….the only difference is that I think she got that from me versus her daddy, because after all, I was the center on my junior high basketball team.
I dont know about the eyes, Maddy’s were dark in the beginning for sure but now are obviously as blue as blue can be. Not sure when that happened, I would say definately before 6 months old though
