6.18.08Splish Splash
by Quinn
Today was Avery’s first trip to the pool. It was a beautiful day and we both enjoyed being in the sunshine. Avery did NOT like it when I dipped her feet in the water! I think it was still just a little bit too cold for baby girl. Thanks to our friends Jill, Natalie, and Megan for letting us come out to visit. We had an awesome Oak Park pool-party play-date and hope to do it again really soon!

Wilson is just loving Avery these days! He wants her to hurry-up and grow-up so they can really play!
6.17.08Glitter girl
by Quinn
Mysteriously, a tiny spec of glitter appears on Avery, every day. I have no clue how it happens or where it comes from. I have checked her clothes, my clothes, my make-up bag, no glitter to be found on anything. Even after baths I will find this little sparkler on her face or head. It just cracks me up! Where is this glitter coming from!?

we had a very busy and fun-filled Tuesday! We are missing Daddy very much but are finding things to keep us busy…check out our adventures for the day below:
First, we saw Auntie Em off to college for registration and orientation.
And look! She brought me back a cool new onesie!
Then, my Great Grandmother, Nanny, came to baby-sit me while my Mom went to Bloomington to get the window fixed on the car.
When Mom got home we played dress-up. She needed to see if some of my new clothes would fit me. Check out my new hat…do you like it? It’s my beach hat!
By the time she put me in my new swimsuit I had had enough!!! No more dress-up, Mom! I am not a doll!
Next, we went to my friend’s house. Her name is Paige and that is her Mom, Betsy. We had a lot of fun!
Paige let me play in her jump-a-roo…it was a total blast! Mom is buying me one exactly like it as soon as we get home!
Then our Moms took about one million pictures of us.
Finally, we said good-bye and headed back to Grandma’s. I screamed the entire way home…ate a bottle…and am just about to fall asleep on the couch. I love you, Daddy…can’t wait to see you on Thursday!
And…just one last picture to make you laugh…this is my best goof-ball face!
