5.29.08A day at the zoo
by Quinn
Today was a very fun day and another “first” for Miss Avery Jayne! We met our friends Jill, Natalie, and Megan at Lincoln Park Zoo. As usual, the babies slept and ate but Natalie and the moms had a lot of fun walking around and looking at all of the animals. Thanks for such a great day, Dauphinee’s!
5.28.08Playdate
by Quinn
Today we had a play date and met some new friends! London (4 months - pictured above) and Avery happily posed for pictures while Erinn (8 months - click through link) took a nap. The babies had a blast hanging out on the play mat, eating, and sleeping. Thanks for having us over, Sarah! We hope to see you all again really soon!

After weeks of trying, I was finally able to get a picture of Avery smiling!!
5.28.08Wilson is confused
by Quinn
Wilson has come a long way since Avery first came home. He really likes her now and is constantly wanting to give her kisses. However, it is becoming apparent that Wilson might think that Avery is a dog. Most recently he has been backing into her trying to get her to sniff his bottom! That’s just how dogs greet one another, right!?
Click through the link below to see Wilson treating Avery like a fellow canine! To see it in person is truly hilarious! (Please know that we, of course, never let him get too close to her face with his back end!)

We are so excited for the Watson family and can’t wait to meet their new little bundle of joy! Congrats Adam & Alicia!!!
5.26.08Congrats to the Graduate!
by Quinn
Avery attended her very first graduation ceremony and watched Auntie Em receive her diploma! (Okay, to be honest, she slept through the entire thing!) We are so proud of Aunt Emily and know she will go on to do great things! She will start college at Millikin University in the Fall and study to become a nurse. We love you, Emma!
