3.26.08Baby Watch 2008…Update #5
by Quinn
No progress to report, only next steps….I go in for induction on Wednesday, April 2nd at midnight. She is still tucked away and making no attempt to join us! I will undergo a manual dilation procedure once I get to the hospital and then we will see how I progress. So, hopefully Avery will make her grand entrance sometime on Wednesday, April 2nd. I am not looking forward to waiting another week but it would be pretty cool if she was born on the 2nd. She would then share a birthday with my Uncle Ron who passed over a year ago. Actually, it’s probably Uncle Ron, helping to arrange this with God, because I know he would get a huge kick out of his Great Niece sharing his birthday!!!
I will continue to keep you posted. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts, comments, emails, and phone calls!

I am glad to hear that your doctor has planned what your next step will be even if you ahve to wait another week. Hang in there!!!!

That would be really neat if she shared a birthday with your Uncle Ron!
The end is near my friend………or I should probably say the beginning!!!!
I’m more than sure she will be worth the wait!!!!!

Don’t you love it how whenever you call someone (if they don’t just come out and ask) you know they are waiting with baited breath for you to tell them that you’re in labor? I always felt like I was letting them down when I just wanted to find out what they thought about an episode of The Office or something

Oops. I hit submit before I was done… when I would call Rob at work anytime after the start of my 9th month, I would start the phone conversation with whoever answered the phone by saying, “This is Natalie… and I’m NOT in labor!”

That would be neat to have her on your Uncle Ron’s bday. Avery is a sentimental girl already! Hang in there. A week, in the grand scheme of things, isn’t too long…though this particular week will feel like it to you! Keep us posted!

We’re sure it will be the 2nd now! Jaclyn was born on the day her grandpa Jack (who she’s named after) died, eight years later. Dates are so significant. God always provides us with smiles from our loved ones above! We’re thinking of you all and praying for you too!

Quinn and Pat,
This is so exciting for all of us as we wonder about and wait for Avery! She is so worth the wait! It is nice to hear the significance of April 2nd and that it will really mean something to you all.
Nathan’s birthday is in April, so I know he will be excited to share his birthday month with his newest baby cousin!!
Take good care of yourselves! We’re always thinking of you!

Patrick and Quinn, Thank you for our new, baby grand-daughter Avery Jayne.
What a wonderful addition to the family. She is beautiful. There were lots of hugs, kisses and tears when Pat told all of us, in the waiting room, of Avery’s long-awaited and safe arrival. What a joy! Love, Mom Barb and Dad Bill
