Here we are checking out the beautiful lobby of the Opryland Hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous! Avery loved all of the plants and fish. She even threw pennies into a pond and made wishes!

We just took a quick trip to Nashville to attend my cousin’s wedding reception. Here is Avery outside the Grand Ole Opry House. I suggested to her that perhaps someday she would perform on this very stage…hey, you never know, right?!
Sacked out in her stroller during a long day of shopping at the Opry Mills mall in Nashville.
Today when I picked Avery up from school, her teacher informed me that there are now 3 teachers in the classroom: Miss Elonda, Miss Alicia, and……Miss Avery. Apparently, Avery has taken on a authoritative role in her classroom. She is repeating the commands of her fellow teachers when the other students need to be “told”.
“No-no!”…”Get down!”…”Stop that!” are a few of her favorites.
We were lucky enough to spend some time with Paige, Mike, and Betsy on December 27th. They flew in from Phoenix for the Christmas holiday and the girls got a chance to play. They had a ball! Check out these pictures and see how much difference a year makes! Hope to see you soon in AZ!
We had an impromptu visit with Santa at PetSmart last week. Avery is still not cracked up about the jolly guy in red…but big brother, Wilson, was there to protect and defend….so I think she was a little more relaxed this time. The blank expression is so typical of my Avery Jayne when she is being photographed. I swear, people, the child DOES smile!!!
