Avery got an “ouchie” this evening and I had to promptly administer a band-aid. She was thrilled to have a bandage. She proudly showed her daddy and posed for the camera. (Let it be known that Avery was chewing her daily vitamin during these photos.)

Avery met beautiful baby Sofia and instantly fell in love! She wanted to hold her and hug her….and hold her and hug her! Avery nicknamed Sofia: Baby So-So. She continually said, “Baby So-So” for most of the evening and even at breakfast the next morning. I have to admit, it was pretty cute! Baby So-So is very sweet and we are so glad that we had the chance to meet her and play with her! Congrats to our friends, Dave and Janelle!

Cousin Hannah turned 10 and Avery had a ball at her birthday party! As you will see in the pictures, Avery especially loved the cake. A very happy birthday to our favorite 10-year old!

Here we are checking out the beautiful lobby of the Opryland Hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous! Avery loved all of the plants and fish. She even threw pennies into a pond and made wishes!

Today when I picked Avery up from school, her teacher informed me that there are now 3 teachers in the classroom: Miss Elonda, Miss Alicia, and……Miss Avery. Apparently, Avery has taken on a authoritative role in her classroom. She is repeating the commands of her fellow teachers when the other students need to be “told”.
“No-no!”…”Get down!”…”Stop that!” are a few of her favorites.
